A prayer for those with sexual addictions
Father, I pray that you would begin working in the hearts of those who are struggling with sexual addictions. There are many men and women in our area who find this to be a constant battle within them. Many have the desire to do what is right, but in the midst of so much temptation, they stumble. Bring them healing I pray. Help them to see themselves and others through Your eyes. Please help us to understand the importance of honoring You with our lives.
Lord, I pray right now for every dancer, patron, owner, investor or lawyer who encourages the existence of Gentlemen's Club 10. I pray that you would begin speaking to them, even now. Draw them close to you through faith in your Son, Jesus Christ. Fill their hearts with the deep conviction and wisdom of Your Holy Spirit.
I pray also for those of us who oppose Gentlemen's Club 10. Please keep us focused on You. Please help us to conduct ourselves in such a way that we never bring dishonor to Your name. Please help the sexually addicted to know that they are loved and that we continue to hold out hope for their redemption. As we too are undeserving recipients of your grace, may we continue to uphold our brothers and sisters in prayer.
I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

News Update
I found this news update informative. It deals mainly with an adult business that had a liquor license, but the point is still clear. Please note two things as you read it.
- 1. Those who support sex businesses try to find loopholes within the law to force their inappropriate behavior on decent communities.
- 2. Common sense and common decency are not traits that are easily found within the walls of a strip club or within the ranks of their legal representation.
3rd Circuit: Erotic Dancing in Bars Not Protected Speech ...... "it is "well established" that a state's interest in curtailing the "unacceptable social behavior" that can arise in conjunction with adult entertainment is "important and substantial."

Proposal
For a month or so, supporters of Gentlemen's Club 10 have been regularly claiming that I am somehow affiliated with Jules Greenberg (sp?), the owner of the Carousel and Cabaret. Their belief is that I am only upset about Club 10 because it creates competition for Mr. Greenberg's clubs. (I also believe they are doing everything they can to try to draw the focus off of their den of iniquity).
Here's my idea. If you really believe that I am a supporter of Mr. Greenberg's businesses, then do me this favor. Drive by his clubs. Take a picture of the cars parked at either the Carousel or Cabaret, and e-mail them to me. Make sure the building is visible in the background so I can determine if they are genuine. Please remember to avoid taking the pictures while on private property. It is legal to take pictures from a street or sidewalk, but not legal to take pictures while on private property.
If your pictures are genuine, they will be posted. I'm looking forward to seeing how much you really believe that deep down, I'm secretly a strip club advocate.
Timeline of Criticism:
- 1. Mr. Family doesn't have pictures posted. (stopped when pictures were posted)
- 2. Those pictures could have been taken anywhere. (stopped when building was shown to be visible in the background and when people admitted that their cars were indeed there)
- 3. Mr. Family makes money from his website counter. (stopped when I explained to the club supporters how a free counter works)
- 4. Mr. Family works for Jules Greenberg. (let my willingness to post pictures of his patrons answer that criticism)
- 5. Mr. Family is going to shut down Gentlemen's Club 10. (actually, this rumor is completely true)

A view inside
1. I don't have to visit a pig farm to know they smell bad.
2. I don't have to visit Arizona to know it's hot in the Summer.
3. I don't have to visit a concert to know it might be noisy.
So what do I base my opinions of Gentlemen's Club 10 on? How about the very words of the people who work there? Of course that's fair, right?
According to the employees of Gentlemen's Club 10, women are merely "fresh meat." That is a direct quote. According to Gentlemen's Club 10, men are invited to visit and "pleasure themselves" with the help of the ladies. Club 10 is also offering to pay local women who aren't currently strippers, to throw away their dignity and create experiences while inside the club that they will one day regret.
Do these people have any self-respect? When did adultery become OK? I must have missed that.
It may take a year or even ten years to get them out of town, but let me promise Club 10 that we will do everything in our power to expose the harm they cause to this community. We will not give them a free pass to forever degrade the women of our area while destroying otherwise healthy families.

XXX Church
I am going to create a permanent link to their site on the sidebar. Visit it when you get a moment.
Here is some interesting data that I just learned.
- A study of 256 non-incarcerated perpetrators of sexual offenses who were undergoing treatment showed that 56% of rapists and 42% of women said someone they knew that was into pornography had sexually abused them.
- A Women's Day survey of 6,000 readers found that 21% of women that were sexually abused knew the person who abused them was heavily into pornography.
- It is believed that 70% of women involved in pornography (videos, stripping, etc.) are survivors of incest or child sexual abuse.
But of course our friends at Gentlemen's Club 10, The Carousel, Planet Pocono, etc, would have us believe that all they are providing is good wholesome adult entertainment. Well, I for one can't see anything entertaining about the exploitation and ultimate abuse of women.
You can try and convince yourself that this isn't happening or that somehow your club will be an exception, but you are wrong.
