Every sexually oriented business petitioning to open in Luzerne County, will likely decrease the value of existing businesses and homes. According to the Surpreme Court, it is well documented that sexually oriented businesses also invite crime into our communities.
Take a photo as you pass by to help make certain that criminal behavior is not occuring near the Arena business district. Do not trespass on private property to obtain a photo. Photos can be sent to: stopgclub10@gmail.com

no one has suffered more that EFO in this debacle. didn't have to happen that way. i think its safe to assume that EFO is moving out of WB TWp all together.

I LOVE the fact that you're still at this.
I totally thought this would fade away after a few weeks last April. I was at the prayer meeting and I pray regularly for the owners/employees/patrons, just as we did that night.
It's very telling to see how many commenters come right out and slam Jesus Christ or Christianity in general. Most of your posts don't even talk about that, but I find it revealing to know what the club folk think of our Lord.

I believe in Jesus Christ. Christianity is good. I have a problem with the Christians who are so judgemental and throw stones at others. What ordinances are teh specificially breaking? That is really a great place to live if the Twp knows that they are breaking them and still lets them do it. just shows what kind of people actually live in WB-Twp to have the local govt betray them and let people do what the want to do. I am actually against the club, but I would like to make two comments..... # 1) What a horrible picture..... What does it show ? It could have been taken along any street in the city at night. It shows a building with lights glowing in the dark. It shows "nothing" about the club, and does "nothing to embarass anyone whose cars might have been parked there. Why not show some pictures with some REAL detail on them for a change. #2) Has anyone considered the FACT that EFO is closing because they are not (and probably never have been) a good business that made any serious money ? My wife and I dealt with them one time a few years ago, and we swore at that time that we would NEVER shop there again. Their service was terrible and their product quality wasn't much better. And before anyone jumps to any conclusion, we were purchasing a king-size headboard valued at over $1000, so we weren't looking for junk, but we were treated like second class citizens, and the whole experience made me feel like we were dealing with a sleazy used-car dealer. So perhaps EFO is closing because this lack of customer loyalty and poor quality merchandise is catching up with them. If the club were to blame, they would have closed months ago. The argument that has been used on this website about people feeling "strange" or "spooky" driving by there or going into their EFO's parking lot because they have to pass by the G-Club is rediculous also..... Do these same people feel the same way walking through the mall with Victoria's Secret store showcasing nighties and walking by Spencer's Gifts because they sell vibrators inside. I bet they haven't been "spooked" by that all, have they ??? Like I said when I started this rant, I am personally against the club, and have never gone and never will, BUT some of you people are getting carried away with this whole thing. Have you ever thought that if you just lay low.... keep quiet about it.... and stop giving them all this attention..... that they might just self-implode and go away on their own ??? In other words, you might be doing them a favor by keeping the spotlight turned on them and their sleazy business. You are actually helping their business, not hurting it. Not to mention all the stress and personal aggravation that you are causing yourselves. That is probably what happened with EFO... enough people got disgusted with them and their poor service and stopped buying from them. Sooner or later, that will catch up with a business and they will close.

to 12:49a, true belief in Jesus Christ means to clearly know and follow through with His teachings. Seemingly you are not fully aware of this since you have expressed a surface view on judgement and throwing stones. Christ's last command to us while He was still on earth was (is): "Love one another as I have loved you." By following Christ with that commandment, that means for us to imitate His works, among them, correcting the faults of others with love as He did so that no one will be lost to the evil one. Yes, of course, to correct our own faults primarily.
I ask you: was Jesus Christ judgemental and throwing stones because He was correcting the faults of others?
If we are open to Him, God works through us so that we may be inspired to tend to the wrong-doings of others, ie, God is tending to them through those of us who are open to Him. Thus, making others aware of their mal-behavior who otherwise would not be aware of it and permanently fall into the hands of the evil one.

6:34am, you missed the point with the comments referring to the club's external eerieness. It can't be accused of looking esthetically pleasant and complimentry in an otherwise inviting business and family-oriented surrounding. Surely V.S. garments and S.G's fall into another category.
By not having this w/s and keeping quiet about the club, it would give the club free, unexposed reign about their activities. The public must be kept informed of their continued sleazy activities in order to be armed and prepared with knowledge of the slime that is infiltrating into the community. We don't want to have to deal with bad circumstances once they have gotten way out of control and then complain afterwards that we had no knowledge. We need to take preventative measures.

Interesting. I was under the impression that these girls were pretty much force to dance due to issues within their lives. Now they are turning tricks? Doing drugs? I guess that if they are turning tricks they are getting money in return. and obviously knowing what they are doing. You're partially correct. No one can possibly take a picture with a zoom lens to make objects visible that are not already visible to the naked eye at any distance. Tech. would have to develop a camera lens that is penetrable. On a different tech. level, however, medical diagnostic and airport x-ray machines show penetrable images that are not visble to the naked eye.
I can understand it not being legal to take a picture with a zoom lens through a window of someone who is in their bedroom and any other kind of invasion of internal privacy, but all that's outside and not taking picures on private property is fair game, isn't it?

The other evening was the first time I obtained a copy of the Weekender. Much to my surprise, I have to admit it gave me more of an eye-opener in regard to the personal want ads with their putrid requests for sex partners and performances. Something for area folks to think about. Did it occur to you that when EFO vacates the premises, the law rightfully won't allow any child-related institution or business to locate there due to the proximity of stripclub10? Children have to be protectd by adults from "adults" at that unnecessary "adult" establishment. The building will not be available for any vital pediatric clinic, day-care center, kindergarten, clothing, toy stores, etc. Amazing how the law protects the sex-crazed primarily, while it forfeits childrens' rights to a potential medical establishment, an early education facility, or an easily accessible day-care necessary for working moms and dads who particularly have to pass that way on to their decent jobs. Additional point, a secondary negative effect of strip clubs.
