Adult businesses hurt neighboring businesses.

  • OK so that's Louisville KY, but consider this W-B Twp has an adult video store on Kidder Street and an XXX movie theater behind K Mart Plus Gclub 10 all in the same Township, when is this township going to wake up..HELLO!!! You the voters and taxpayers of W-B Twp are being duped by your so called government leaders. How can you allow all this trash in one Town. Oh sure this web site is trying but it's not enough. Forget the First amendment rights ask yourselves what are your rights as citizens and tax payers! Next they will allow more message parlors in your township. The only way you can act is to vote the current leaders out of office and a strong campaign to clean up W-B Township. What a shame!

  • City of Redmond, Washington has an interesting ordinance concerning adult business. Maybe WBT should look into it for some ideas. Title 5, chapter 5.68. http://www.codepublishing.com/WA/redmond.html

  • Did some reading on this and it appears that from what I read males who visit these strip clubs do so to reinforce their masculinity and that they are confused about intimacy. In other words they are not secure in themselves or their appearance and must be reminded that they are men by visiting a sleaze ball strip joint with sleazy dancers to convince themselves that they are men or male. Could these males be teetering on the borderline of being straight or gay?

  • Adult businesses don't hurt other businesses. Just think of all the help Club 10 is giving the porn industry by showcasing their actresses. Now, people will be encouraged to shop at the adult bookstores for their products. After they get all excited, then they can go out and pay a prostitute for her/his services. Then the prostitutes will have money to buy drugs. The police force will need to create more jobs to handle all the vice. It's a win/win/win situation.

Adult businesses are therefore good for the economy. I can look forward to the future! Thank you Gentlemen's Club 10!

  • 1041,
Especially when the so called men that visit this club are confused as to what real men are supposed to be and act like. Apparently they don’t have any good role models to look up to. Wait a minute, doesn’t that sound like leadership? Leadership, hmmm what owner of G10 would knowwwwww whaaaat LDRSHIP stands for?????
The problem is that these confused males are like repeat offenders, they are confused so they go to the club, take what they learned from the club and infect society with what they learned, then they take their experiences from how they treat society and how society treats them in return and reinforce that learned experience in the club where it is encouraged.
So on one hand they are encouraged to act one way in the club but outside the club people question, wonder, and shun their behavior. Club rewards their behavior, society condones their behavior. So where do you think they are going to run to in order to retreat from a healthy society? Who do you think they are going to retaliate against?
We don’t need G10!!! Go away, crawl back in the hole you came from. Be a good leader not a terd.

  • It pains me to see so many religious addicts in our area. Many of the posters here show many of the signs of religious addiction, including Mr.Family himself.

  • I'm an atheist, but it pains me more to see so many people objectify and degrade women than to see those trying to show others the light. I don't share their religious beliefs, but my hat is off to Mr. Family and those who hold a higher regard for their fellow human beings. I may not be one of the so-called faithful, but I believe there's hope for mankind as long as those of us with a conscience stand up to be counted against those who give in to their baser instincts.

  • the internet breeds more sex and porn than the clubs and bookstore. do some research and see just how mush of this material is viewed on home computers. adults and yes children are more likely exposed to this than driving down the road at 35 plus mph. people that are true sex addicts as you like to call them are more likely staying home on their computers than visiting a club.

  • This is an educationed conclusion derived from the comments of the individual behind blog 10:23 AM. Invididuals of this nature have a self-hatred with which they expand upon in society. Lashing out with a contempt for religion is often associated with these feelings due the broad sweep of individuals who are sensitive to their religious beliefs. Rather than the individual focusing on his or her own personally harmful and undermining disdains, society in general becomes the target for their negative harbored feelings. In all reality, they do not express a true concern for society and the negative effects upon it.

To the individual behind blog 9:03 AM, all forms of sexual addiction in any location are harmful to the individual and to society. It is our duty as respectable adults to suppress the ever-growing influx of sexual themes that derive satisfaction from poisoning our children's minds and the highly potential influence from neighborhood strip clubs. Financial gain is the undermining goal that plays on sexual additions.

  • Mr. Family it shows by the lesser number of posts on this web site that your popularity is waning. Yes The club has lower attendance but it may just be to the number of BYOB clubs around our area or that the club scene is becoming old hat and a waste of hard earned dollars, which the working man earns and wastes to look at some naked women.

  • Again we see the attempt to excuse the strip club by pointing out more odious forms of porn. I can filter out the porn on my computer, but club10 is still there every time I stop at that intersection, providing live degradation at $20 a pop right in the middle of my own neighborhood. Let the sex addicts stay home and peruse this garbage on their computers for free rather reminding all of us of the live smut proliferating at this dive day in and day out.

  • 9:03 am,
All you are doing is using associated logic in your argument. Matter of fact most of pro10 posts are nothing more than jumping off topic, logical fallacies, and ethical fallacies. Like many before me have said, debating with pro10ers is like trying to reason with a pea brain. It is not a matter of if this club gets shut down; it is only a matter of time. Can’t wait to see yall gone.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:40 PM

  • to 1129 am there are more adult clubs opening than closing 309 cinema has been around for years same with the adult bookstore on kidder and in larksville the grandview strip club has been around for a while too---and there is nothing you can do about it--why don't you get from behind your computer and snap a few pics instead of whining and calling people names?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:51 AM

  • Look to your right.
Your idolized Supreme Court has has it "well documented" that sexually oriented businesses also invite crime into our communities.

So don't whine if you become an unfortunate victim of crime.
On the other end of the spectrum,if you are a criminal, please save your money for your stay at the County. Don't burden the taxpayers who want you out of our community.
