MySpace update

MySpace has completely removed Gentlemen's Club 10's website. In a response to the complaints of concerned Luzerne County residents, they have stated the following:

Hi!
Thank you for identifying inappropriate content on MySpace.
This content has been removed. Thank you for your support in keeping MySpace a clean and healthy community!
MySpace.com

This website clearly violates the following provision in the MySpace agreement. "Your MySpace.com profile may not include the following items: telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, and any photographs containing nudity, or obscene, lewd, excessively violent, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise objectionable subject matter."

A big thank you to MySpace for addressing our concern that our children not be constantly bombarded with such inappropriate content.

Other info:
Gentlemen's Club 10 is currently revamping their original website. Because their site is advertised on 81 South and on the exterior of their building (in full view of children), it is a violation of community sign standards for them to post nude, pornographic, lewd or sexually explicit material OR links to such material. This is what they did when they first established their website. If their site does post this kind of information, please let us know so we can begin contacting the proper authorities.

  • Bravo, Mr. Family!

  • There was no nudity on their myspace. Bikini's are not nudity. And also, Myspace is being hypocritical since their poster child has links to her personal page in which she sells videos of herself nude. Club10 can actually claim discrimination, not to mention they have a very liable harassment suit against Mr.Family. Godaddy.com and Domains by proxy both have very distinctive sections about harassment, which this site is dedicated to doing to a legal business location. Ill send some e-mails myself .

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:09 PM

  • Topless women count as nudity. Apparently MySpace agrees. You also forgot to mention your link to a porn website for an upcoming "featured dancer."

From the inception of this website, I have been very careful to do everything in a legal manner. I'll let you know a little secret. This website is regularly reviewed by my legal representation. At no point have we resorted to harrassment or any such activity.

We have posted public information and public pictures, which is 100% legal.

It is also 100% legal to share your opinion about a public business and their activity.

By Blogger Mr. Family, at 1:16 PM

  • Not true. Your legal representation will tell you anything is ok, that is there job after all.
You are using harassment, you are singling out one club and trying to hurt their customer base, that is harassment.
And a suit can be filed. Wait and see. Trying to scare people away from going somewhere by posting there cars, that is a from of harassment. No way around it. Anyone of the people that you have their cars posted can file a complaint, but then again, that is the main reason you refuse to tell people who you are isn't. Yes it is.

Myspace has 100's of pictures of nude women all over their site, and there main female Tila Tequila has links to her own site that she sells nude videos, I guarantee they will not remove her page. That is discrimination to a degree.
Your opinion is one thing, forcibly trying to make people stay away from a LEGAL establishment is another.
YOU seem to forget, the club is 100% legal. You have proven time and time again to not have a very good knowledge of local laws.

  • You must think I have all the time in the world and that I'm up on all the bad sites on the internet. If there is a site with objectional content like Club 10 posted, please feel free to report it to MySpace or if you would like, send me the information and I will be happy to forward a complaint to their standards department.

By Blogger Mr. Family, at 7:26 AM

  • This is the warning on the club's website before it redirects you to its myspace.

"The Website you are being automatically forwarded to contains adult material."

Even the club admits they have sexual content on their myspace. Uh, at least they used to. Now they are banned from myspace. Maybe soon they will be banned from Luzerne County.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:47 AM

  • car pics forcing away patron wannabes, 242? try maybe them CHOOSING coming to terms that their perverted night lives would be exposed to their wives or bosses which would wreck their lives and livliehoods.

LEGAL? since when did it become legal to demoralize and corrupt 18-20 years olds and a community on the whole?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:46 PM

  • Decent answer to 7:26Am, Mr. Family. Excuse me for interjecting, but I would like to ask that same blogger: if that situation truly offends you, why project it on to Mr. Family at all? Why don't you take the initiative to do something about it?
Your say is as good as anybody elses.

  • 7:04, your argument is like that of a child who, when caught with his hand in the cookie jar, tries to throw the blame on a sibling who also stole cookies. The old "but he started it" defense has always been incredibly immature. TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT. This site is dedicated to one cause. What part of "stopgclub10" do you not understand? We're not trying to drain the ocean with a teaspoon here, so it isn't "stopeverysexualperversionintheworld.com"

The very best of wishes to you always!

  • Mr. Family: I have two questions for you...... (1) Do you have any children of your own ? (2) How many hours per week on the average do you spend on this website and it's research ? I look forward to your response.

  • 335pm but mr family's motto is keeping ne pa family friendly-- no more new adult places opening in luzerne county--yet several have opened after gclub 10- because everyone is focused on the club 10. it os like having 10 henhouses--you watch only one so the foxes raid the other nine.
I guess you people are too narrowly focused on gclub 10 to notice other places opening up and doing the same thing.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:57 PM

  • 9:53, the voters of W-B Township have effectively ruled out any more bottle clubs opening there and Mr. Family can certainly take some credit for this. I don't recall him saying "no more new adult places opening in Luzerne county", though I have noticed that neighboring municipalities have drafted pre-emptive ordinances to preclude all-nude lap "dancing" dives in their communities, for which they can also thank Mr. Family in part. Next -- closing down gclub10!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:36 PM

  • 5:33,
Seeing that Mr. Family didn't oblige your curiosity, I betcha I can answer yours questions being in sync with all anti-club supporter thoughts:

    1. if Mr. Family has zero to twenty kids, one way or the other, it wouldn't change the reason for his mission for a cleaner community for all children in the area.
    2. if Mr. Family spent as little as one minute on his website and research, it would be time 100% more well spent than a 1000 hours spent at a porn club.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:53 AM

  • 9:53 Am, it is not Mr.Family's concern for other adult places. He is fixated on club10, he has a vendetta against that single club. One of the reasons he keeps himself hidden.
many new places are opening, the reason being that adult places do very well in this area. They always have. And they will continue to.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:34 PM

  • For the benefit of 9:53 a,
I am going to clarify the question posed to you by 3:35 p.:
"what part of 'stopgclub10' do you not understand?"
Frankly, I cannot not make it any clearer than 3:35 p did.
Having said that, I will add an elightenment for the benefit of 4:34 p.: none of us are multi-locational beings who would be capable of fighting the whole porn world.
I will also add suggested reading that I composed under the caption:
    "Corruption of minors? You decide."
    (blog 8:15, lower part)
The whole blog is worth reading, but particularly #4 & 5.
Excerpts: "Mr. Family is not out to run for public office...etc."
His identity would defeat his purpose. "That is a man of strong character, not of cowardice."

Now, the reason "adult" places are on the upswing is because more and more are losing their self-respect and enjoy getting stupid. They cannot develop cultural interests. Nor can they appreciate the finer aspects life has to offer that would enhance their humanity.
Simply put, they would rather be down in the gutter! And they will always continue to do so.

The campaign interferes with your groinal focus and that is the reason why YOU carry out a vendetta against Mr. Family.

And to anon 9:53. The BYOB ban was intended to try and close the club, which failed, but Go-Go and topless clubs can still open. And since the law in PA has change recently for the better in regards to Go-Go clubs, they no longer require them to were nipple covers. They can serve alcohol and have topless dancers. So much for stopping them huh? PA law change to help the clubs. Other voters and the courts have spoken. In FAVOR of nude dancing. And PA law can override a local ordinance.

" no new sexually oriented businesses in our area"
so he did say it. as far as the byob ban--it did not stop g club-- but i can no longer bring a bottle of wine to a restaurant which doesn't have a liquor license" in wilkes-barre township-- but i can anywhere else in the area--
so who loses-- resturants in wilkes-barre township etc.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:54 AM

  • I think it is funny that you anti-clubbers do realize how more effective mr family would be if he were not an anonymous person.
If he were not anonymous-- he could solicit donations for a billboard and other things needed to fight against the club-- illegal to solicit as an anonymous person--
    ( pa charities law)
he could appear in public, speak to church groups and organize protests against the club-- can't as an anonymous person.
obtain media coverage concerning his efforts--news media will not print "anything from an anonymous source" direct quote from the citizen's voice.
there are others too-- but i think you get the point.
If you people are REALLY SERIOUS about closing the club, find someone who isn't
    anonymous.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:06 PM

  • Mr.Family stays anon, becuase people would not follow his cause if they knew who he really was.
And he does not want others pointing out what he does wrong. Skeletons in the closet after all.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:49 PM

  • If you could really see inside my "closet," I think you would be quite bored and disappointed.

But in the interest of full disclosure, I will admit that I once tried to steal a Tom Petty album from a department store when I was in junior high. I chickened out when I realized I was being watched.

There, now it's all in the open.

By Blogger Mr. Family, at 4:27 PM

  • OH MY GOD, HE'S A TOM PETTY FAN..... NOW "THAT" EXPLAINS EVERYTHING !!!!!!!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:46 PM

  • That he's a closet pothead? I'm not here to speculate, if anything, myspace is the place that should be shut down. Pedophiles and freakish children abound there, why not focus your efforts there? Hell, I'd join you on that crusade! Ha!
Then all we'd have left to do is to get you to stop listening to Tom Petty. If anything, HE is the Devil...

By Blogger Graveh, at 7:26 PM

  • Mr. Family, I'm trying to decide what gets the club crowd into a spin more: the car pics or your anonymity?? Both effects seem to be neck and neck eating them alive!

They have all kinds of ideas on how you should run the show, but ironically they don't have a clue on how to run their own lives decently. Strange!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:19 PM

  • And of course we can beleive Mr.Family can't we, because you can always beleive a Anonymous man with a web site.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:22 AM

  • What makes you club bubs so positive Mr. Family is totally anonymous and doesn't reach out in many areas of the community?
If you recall from the prayer vigil, at least 100 people wore "I am Mr. Family" t-shirts. A few hundred more wanted them, but they ran out.
Several people were actually quoted in the paper saying they were Mr. Family. So what makes you think Mr. Family is even one person?
Contrary to what you would like to believe, there are many more Mr. Family(s) in the community who do their part in the areas you specified...protesting on a quieter, yet consistent scale. Money and grand publicity are not necessary for a free voice.

Another thing to point out: the club has a capacity for 1300 people. You people often brag that 500 people attend in one night. (highly questionable considering the source) If clubtrash10 was so popular, when did the amount of attendance ever come close to 1300?
Considering the amount of the local population, and then the out-of-towners, 500 at its best is a drop in the bucket.

Getting on to the hidden, how high are Sal's unpaid bills piling up?

    I am Mr. Family!

(but not the one or several who runs this website)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:40 AM

  • “Oh my gosh” you pro10ers jump to conclusions so quickly, if only you concluded what your insecurities are. I spent some time away from this site and see that the regurgitated slop hurled from the mouths of pro10ers continues. I guess I will continue to wear hip boots in NEPA.
Discriminate, 242, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about or what the word means. Here’s an idea, instead of supporting G10 try getting an education or re-educating yourself because its quite clear that NEPA needs help in this area.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:08 AM

  • There is one single man that runs this site with his own agenda. I have spoken with him over e-mails various times. As well as a few others that have done the same. it is a single person. I also know people who were at the vigil, and they have the shirts you speak of, they never met "the man". He has even hidden himself from those who follow him.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:08 PM

  • to 640 am if I remember correctly, there were suppose to be regular prayer vigils-- never happened. according to the paper, people were afraid to give their names and said they were mr family
according to the newspaper only one hundred people attented. you can read about for your self on this website. ( april 2006)
and as far as money-- you will need it for the t-shirts, when and if there is ever another prayer vigil. where will it come from?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:28 PM

  • Mr. Family's admission of nearly shop-lifting a Tom Petty LP in jr. high shows how the pro-clubbers will jump on any factoid to mount a personal attack and then question his decision to remain anonymous. I have some Tom Petty CD's, but I'm no pothead, as "graveh" speculates. If he thinks MySpace should be shut down, why is he wasting his time here instead of following his own advice? Oh, right, that's how pro-clubbers kill time til the club opens for the night.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:28 PM

  • to anonynous 6:40pm,
there are still prayer vigils, my friend. Sunday is the one held collectively in Churches when everyone takes aside a special time to gather to pray for this situation, among others local and worldwide. Prayer vigils are held every day in the hearts of more folks then we will ever know.
The paper misquoted the number in attendance at the prayer vigil. It was approx. 300, which was more than expected. Thus, the t-shirts became unavailable.
Please have no concern about money. God provides. Thank you.

    to anonymous 12:08pm,
I have also e-mailed to "Mr. Family" various times. "He/"they" always sign it as "Mr. Family. That doesn't tell me there is only one Mr. Family per se. "Mr. Family" is a group involvement of people who have been actively contributing to the formation and maintenance of this website. That I know.
"Mr.Family" is a concept of and a single title, a representation if you will, for the mission issues that are presented on this website. We all meet "Mr. Family," so to speak, when we identify our own worthy morals and see the same in others whom we meet. If we choose to hide our morality under immorality, then that is being anonymous to ourselves and to others with whom we interact. Thank you.

I believe the comments I have just expressed are what eludes the pro-club stance. My comments certainly entail a broader spectrum rather than the choice to understand less.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:08 AM

  • I've watched the Wizard of Oz for many a year. I continue to enjoy the creative qualities of it, a true classic for all ages that has endured the test of time.
Now if I were to say you are being juvenile with your comment, my hope would be that it is coming from an innocent child. Hardly think so. More likely it is coming from a precocious child-like mind in an adult's body.

But the anti clubbers jump on any comment anyone makes. Like vultures. Hovering waiting for anything they can pick apart.
And you talk about education. Learn to read first.

  • to 542 am no I am adult--
where would christianity be today if christ and his disciples remained anonymous?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:50 AM

  • no where, so where would Christianity be today if it did not continue to openly decry immorality?
my point being, derived from the Bible, is that, unlike the pharisees who purposely made all their "good" deeds well known just for the pleasure of receiving public praise, a good Christian does good deeds in humble humility without fanfare.
personally, when I make special donations to the Church, I tell the Priest that when he prints the amount in the bulletin, to credit it to "anonymous."
in my public life, I do not seek recognition for doing good. in fact, I abhor it.
so I align the same Christian attitude with Mr. Family, who I see chooses not to boast about his good efforts.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:35 PM

  • 6:47AM,
reviewing your "808/"graveh" point, 8:08 clearly specified blogger 242. "graveh's" blog time was 7:26PM.
Now what was that you said about "learn to read first"?

This anti-clubber is not hovering like a vulture with your comment like a pro-clubber---just having some fun!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:04 AM

  • 6:47, you bet we're gonna jump on any comments the pro-clubbers make because we're not buying any of your incoherent excuses. graveh, like John Kerry, should leave the jokes to comedians. But then, it's typical for the pro-clubbers to joke about objectifying women because they treat women like a joke anyway. I don't think there's anything funny about exploiting women for "entertainment".

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:44 AM

  • 11:44, I think we are giving the pro-clubs too much credit by possibly assuming they know what "objectifying" and "exploiting" means. Remember, they've proven themselves not to be the brightest stars in the sky.
They don't even know what "entertainment" means. They think strippers are "dancers." They make that connection with degrading lap dancing!
I'll make an attempt to explain to them what "incoherent" means in a synonymous word they will understand: "duhhhh????"

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:40 PM

  • Funny how the word Exploit is only used around strip clubs. Will all of it that goes on in our every day lives. But I guess that is ok.
And thank you anon 11:44 for trying to justify your wrong acts of attacking people. I wasn't sure if two wrongs make a right, but I guess in your world it does. Typical anticlub remarks

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:18 PM

  • I really, really wish you p-10s would establish your own words instead of parroting words that I introduced to this board, and you have used immediately thereafter and continuously: "typical" p-10 remarks.
Since you like to copy us a-c'ers verbally, then copy us all the way to decency.
"Exploit" only used around strip clubs? How about we go with "degenerate" instead?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:30 AM

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:33 AM

  • 6:33, I'm an atheist, but I think if Christ had preached morality from an anonymous forum, he might have lived much longer than his early 30's.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:53 AM

  • to 530 am sorry but you do not have a copyright on any words in the dictionary.
Perhaps in your mind, you think you do. I am glad to know you are decent and hang around here to tell others they are not. I hope the name calling get you into heaven faster. Your
words and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:52 AM

  • 9:52, Your words and the gclub charge for seeing a naked woman will get me coffee for a month. 5:18, I suspect an attempt to rebut your rebuttal would result in a response akin to "nonny, nonny, neener" from you, so I shall refrain and let your ignorance speak for itself. The immaturity of club supporters as voiced in this forum merely serves to reinforce the pathetic stereotype the rest of the community assumes these patrons to be.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:26 PM

  • Here we go again with the reading disabled! Luv it!
to 6:33, 11:25 did answer your ? The first two words "no where."

Here we go again with the whoopie-doo sensitive creatures! Luv that too!
to 9:52, the clubbers abandon their consciences, abandon their esteem, abandon their clothes, abandon morality, abandon all that is righteous - positive I left a lot of things out - but lo and behold, when they hear a true name about themselves, they become super sensitized! I guess they have to hide themselves under something, the sensitivity to truth.
And, bud, it just goes to prove another point by an anti-clubber, GET AN EDUCATION and you will be able to expand on your own vocabulary. Polly want a cracker! Oh, and don't fret about what will get anyone into Heaven faster - surely pro-clubbing and clubbing supporters won't. ta ta!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:45 PM

  • Thanks for addressing one of the many truths about us ac'ers, 9:52 a! Of course we know I don't have a copyright~however club bloggers like to wrongly believe we can't think independently of Mr. Family. Well....evidently the shoe is clearly on the other foot. Clubbies cannot think independently from ac'ers. Sooo....you have to rely on our verbal usage for your reflectively spun arguments. And little ol'you verified it with your highlighted recognition of the obvious status quo!
Yes I am decent. Thank you very much for recognizing that too.
Have the rest of that blah, blah, blah you cooked up with your coffee.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:44 PM

and to you 345 nmae calling and the such on this forum will do so much to close the club, right. I bet you would not venture from behind your computer to do anything else. I actually have a good laugh at hypocrites like you.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:45 AM

  • dear rev. mr. family; as the spokesperson for the anti-club group, we took a vote and demand that you meet with our demand. (if that was ok with you?) we are tired of the same bland orange koolaid you serve us at your strip clubs. the next time we patronize, we want some kick to it. tainting it with something would be most thoughtful of you. we hope that you will see things our way for once.
we trust that you will tell us, as always, what to say and do next. please, rev. mr. family, please, please tell us.
