Every sexually oriented business petitioning to open in Luzerne County, will likely decrease the value of existing businesses and homes. According to the Surpreme Court, it is well documented that sexually oriented businesses also invite crime into our communities.
Take a photo as you pass by to help make certain that criminal behavior is not occuring near the Arena business district. Do not trespass on private property to obtain a photo. Photos can be sent to: stopgclub10@gmail.com
Please show an interest in protecting the business and residential community of Luzerne County from destructive and harmful behavior.
Sexually oriented businesses will not benefit our quickest growing business districts.
Pray that this effort to educate Luzerne County residents will be successful and help spread the word of what this website is attempting to do.

Same old, worn out story. Not a fact, another myth. Strip clubs and porn are easy targets to blame rape on, since no one wants to blame people. The same way people try to blame violence on movies and TV.
Rape and Violence have been around since the day man set foot on this earth, before porn and strip clubs. Even if narrow minded people like you took away all the porn, people will still commit rape. Typical finger pointing to pass the blame.

Mr. Family why are you going all the way to Ireland with regard to Dance Clubs articles. If you check the web sites these clubs exist all over the world. The point is there are plenty of these clubs in our own State and our own locality which are newsworthy, so why even print any articles which don't pertain to our locality? Does anyone even care what goes on in Ireland with regard to these clubs? We live right here in Luzerne County let's keep focused on what goes on right in our own neighborhood. Note a new BYOB club is trying to open in Pittston Township. You have 5 or 6 BYOB Clubs currently operating here concentrate your efforts locally if you wish to gain readership interest. Surly you will find newsworthy information if you do your research. Perhaps you may wish to check the local club web site postings right her in Luzerne County.

any stripper will tell you that one of their greatest fears si that they will be followed when they leave their club and then raped or attacked in some other way.
it's very sad to see that club supporters don't understand this (or maybe they just done care). I feel very bad for the women that have to live in that kind of fear.

I don't have any fear of anyone following me home. I have worked at clubs for four years.
I have never had that fear. You know what my biggest fear is? Being attacked and harassed by religious crusaders. It has happened to me once already two years ago.
I lived in Allentown, and there was a man who hated that I loved in his neighbor hood, and he went to the extremes to not allow his children to play with my little girl. It came to a point where he cornered me against my car, and yelled at me. Quotes from the bible and threats of God damning me. That is my fear. And Mr.Family makes me think that is the kind of person he is.
And before you jump all over me, I am married, to the father of my little girl, I do not work at Club10, but I may go there because I hear good things from the other girls that there is No Whoreing going on. I was never abused as a child nor have I ever been raped.
I am very proud of the body I have and I enjoy dancing nude. It is that simple.

You know people up until a few years ago strip clubs were for watching only. If you ever touched a dancer or she rubbed against you they would throw you & the dancer out. Why all the touching and robbing what changed? The first Amendment says nudity is ok, freedom of expression is legal, nothing about sexual contact in public places.It not legal to rub or touch under the law.

To anon 2:34. My mother is in her 60's and one of her fears is to be followed home and have something happen to her and well sorry to say that she is def. NOT a stripper. She isn't even afraid of going near the mall or the GClub. It is the city of Wilkes-Barre she is afraid to go to. There are worse things than a strip club that are always on her mind when she goes out. Look in the paper and all the shootings, stabbings and theft and violence that happens in that city, then look at what happens in good ole Wilkes-Barre Twp. We in the township have it pretty damn good up here and a strip club being here is one of the lowest things on my priority list. There should be a site dedicated to the city of Wilkes-Barre trying to clean of that cesspool and wishing it could be like Wilkes-Barre Twp. where it seems the only concern with some and I do stress some not all residence of this fine town is a nudie bar. God help the residents in Wilkes-Barre and thank God he has helped us in the great W-B Twp. with such fine leadership that focuses on the safty of its residents and not trivial businesses.

Then you take it upon yourself to demoralize the very same people, the greater number who have great faith in God by stressing that only some residents are concerned about a nudie bar. Think again. You do not speak for the greater majority who follow God's teachings.
And if you had any foresight and gave it some more thought, you might come to the conclusion that WBT is not exempt from the treacheries of WB city. The difference up until this point is that WB city politicians did not take a firmer stance in preventing crime. A topless bar became established. Prostitutes still hang out downtown. Drugs kings infilrated. Murders became rampant. And now everything is out of control.
Without prevention, how long do you think WBT will stay "pretty darn good?"
Let's learn from WB city's experience. It's the best teacher! Then your dear mom won't have to worry about stepping outside of her home not only because of the "fine leadership that focuses on the safety of its residents," but also with the majority of the fine residents who have the same concern. We hear that G Club 10 Customer are starting to complain that they are not as liberal there as other local clubs. (They have less contact with the dancers) It appears that some of the other local strip clubs are very promiscuous. Mr. Family better starting looking around. Your not going to get G Club 10 Closed when other local clubs allow at lot more contact and are still operating.

I had the 6.50 burger job, and you know what, it stinks. it is a dead end job, I felt depressed the entire time, so I took it upon myself to better myself and pretty much tripled that salary. And How I choose to spend it is mine and no one else's.
The only thing strippers provide the country with is entertainment, and MILLIONS of people every day enjoy that very type of entertainment.

Granted, the woman who used to strip describing the scenario with that man as is, is not acceptable. It left her with the impression that categorizes all religious believers as being forceful. With that in mind, my deepest concern for her is that it may have also distorted her image of God.
I would like to offer to her my beliefs, which are very common beliefs.
God wants us to accept and love Him, but He will not force us. Religion can or should be presented in a manner that it would reflect at least some degree of God's kindness. That is to say, we, as human beings, can never be as ultimately kind as God.
We actually condemn ourselves if we turn away from God by adamantly choosing sin over Him. He has the greatest unimaginable love for us and no desire for any of us to be lost, not in this life or the next.
We are making our choice now.
But only now do we have the opportunity to turn our direction towards God. No matter how evil our lifestyles, with our repentance, we can turn to Him and trust in His infinite Mercy.
God loves us. The devil hates us.

Thank you for not attacking me. I do not believe God or religion to be forceful. What I do believe is people like this Mr.Family to be. They take the preaching's of the lord and force them on other who do not see things as they do, or choose the same life as they do.
Yes, I strip for money, and that is my decision to make, my husband and I are swingers, which many people also frown upon, but there are millions of people who live this way, and lead happy and fulfilling lives. Because others can not understand us, they choose to ridicule, and judge.
Thank you for teaching your children tolerance to others, that is what I teach my little girl. Even thought we may be on different sides of this debate, I can see you are at least acting with more compassion then most.
