  • Glad to see with everything going on in the Valley with the flooding and whatnot that you still have the time to keep up this war... you couldn't give it a rest for a few days?

  • KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BYE BYE SAL

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:34 AM

  • Drove by gclub10 last night on way out to dinner after mandatory evacuation from my home and was pleased to see NO cars in the lot.

  • Dear 6:29 am, morality doesn't take a rest just as crime and immorality doesn't take a rest.
Don't doubt for a moment that immorality wasn't going on just because of flooding.
War? Try continuous battle against evil. It's been going on practically since the beginning of time.

  • Mr. Family,

What are you going to do after the judge rules in favor of the club? The vote and the ordinances came about after the permit was issued. You need to accept the fact that there are alot of people in this area that like that kind of entertainment. You may not like that fact but thats life.

  • hi, mr. family!

forgive me, I forgot. when we had our recent religious cult meeting and you said you were masterminding for us, your cohorts, to take over the whole world, was that supposed to be a secret or not? :)

    oh it's getting weirder.

have a great day and keep up the great work! :)

  • A gentle reminder for all of us to unite our prayers in spirit on Friday at 7pm.

I would also like to propose that for anyone driving by the club or any illicit business, to say a little prayer.

    God bless all.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:35 PM

  • If that were true that a lot of people in this area like that kind of entertainment, then that's not saying much good about them.
And it would be a sad fact about life that they don't even like themselves since they don't have self-respect. When one doesn't have self-respect, then they certainly don't have respect for others. Are you prepared to accept that others won't have respect for you?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:02 AM

  • I'm an atheist, so forgive me for not joining you in prayer. However, although I don't know what Mr. Family is going to do if the judge rules in favor of the club, I can tell you that I will continue to work toward closing it down with every legal means available to me. I don't care how many people in this area patronize sex businesses, I will never accept this in-your-face location of a strip club in the heart of the shopping, restaurant and arena section of this township.

  • Anon 8:47am

Wow, what a fake and canned comment. "I can tell you that I will continue to work toward closing it down with every legal means available to me" The club is 100% legal. There is nothing legal to do to close it. Nice fake commoent Mr.F. Very transparent.

  • Sure seems to me that Sal cares for people in this area, Enough to risk his life to save perfect strangers. I see you choose not to post the link I provided from the news.
    Alwasy the censor. Typical.

  • sep, Even though you don't have a faith, it's too bad that you need to have a degrading atmosphere to give you a supposed exciting existence. Nature in itself, the outdoors, has plenty of healthy and adventurous excitement to offer everyone: skiing, swimming, hiking, boating, camping, and so on, and travleing.
There is all kinds of sports and community activities to get involved in to meet people and have great conversations and to learn new interests.
There are volunteer charitable organizations where the joy of helping needy people and animals is heart-warming.
There are college courses to take to learn or develop your talents.

Since you don't have a faith, you can still have a life filled with a healthy happiness and self-respect and reaching out to others with respect. In other words, you can have a full life. For now, you convey your life as being empty and bitter.
No, one one gave you "an excuse to visit such an entertaining environment." It's your own desperation in not enjoying anything else that gave you an excuse.

  • Thank you, anony 8 47 (aetheist) for your supportive comments---very, very well appreciated and respected!
Although you do not join us in prayer, your high moral standards speaks volumes.
You have proven to the club supporters that this is not all about those of us who are just trying to push our religious views on them, but basically about the indecency of an unwanted illicit business...and that is exactly what it is, an "in-your-face location of a strip club..," which is saying to us that they are imposing their scandalous behavior on everyone whether we like it or not. Then the club supporters have the audacity to say that we are pushing our morals on them while they are pushing their immorality on us!
Hope to hear more from you, and all the best wishes with all your efforts!

Club supporters, take note: even though I have a very strong faith, I did not make even one attempt to "convert" or slam this person.

  • No "fake" or "canned" comments here. I too appreciate Sal's service in the national guard. I wish his support for the betterment of our community was consistent with the selfless behavior he showed us during the flooding.

Like I have said before, I actually believe that he is a nice guy. I admire him for his service to our country. I admire his business skill. I pray for him, however, because I believe he is damaging his image because he has become caught up in the world of sexual "entertainment." He can do much better than that. He's proven that to us all.

  • anonymous 8:47, PLEASE ignore what 12:18 AM has to say. Everything goes over their heads and they pick and pick to the point where they say the most absurd things. They refuse to give in to reality so much, that they think everybody is making up things and think that Mr. Family and supporters have a personal vendetta against Sal and all. They will make up anything because they just don't get it.
And because they don't get it, they express their immaturity to the point of unrealistic comments about Mr. Family as if they are backed up into a corner.
Mr. Family understands this, which means he and all of us supporters understand that they don't have a broad view of life and people, and neither do they want to. They limit what they want to distinguish between a person and circumstance, therefore, they can't see the whole picture.
Please respond, 8:47, if you can. Thank you.

Mr.Family, try as they might, they will never tear down your self-respect and the respect you have for others. They just don't get that.
This whole circumstance is about wanting more for others and seeing better for others than they want and can see for themselves. And it's a pity that is so hard for some people to understand that.
But no matter what, there will be lives that will be turned around for the better because of this campaign.

  • 1218am absolutely nothing against aetheists, but one who believes in God, as does Mr. Family, would never say for any reason that they did not.....just as much as an aetheist would say the opposite. so that blows your accusation out of the water that Mr. Family "faked" and "canned" that comment. Have to disappoint you, but I believe it was very legitimate.
It would be in your best interest to get out into the world to learn such things.........and also not to try to make a liar out of that person who submitted those comments. An apology is in order on your part to anonymous blogger 847am and to Mr. Family.
If you don't apoligize, then you purposely made a false accusation.

12 25am seems to be a bit irate about you not posting some kind of hero link about sal
    calling it typical censorship

well i could make a request that you post the newspapers articles when sal was ousted or made a choice about not retaining his job as a high school coach due to conflict of interest with his new business
    fair is fair

but i would not request that and you are too much of a gentleman to do that

  • This is the 8:47AM atheist again. 8:58PM is correct in the assertion that I would not try to pass myself off as a religious person anymore than Mr. Family would likely pose as an atheist. However, I'm flattered that 12:18 thought I was Mr. Family because, even though I have no idea who he is, his blogging indicates to me that he is a man of intelligence, honor and humor. Personally, it does not matter to me who supporters of the strip club think I am. I neither expect nor offer apologies for honest opinions. The absurdity of various posts speak for themelves. I gather strength from the paranoia of pro-strip clubbers. While I appreciate my freedom from religion, I also respect the freedom of religion practiced by people of faith. To clarify my earlier post, by "legal means" I only meant to convey that I would not resort to "illegal means" to stop club10. I have no intention of getting involved with matters of law, but there are certainly many other ways to close this business down and I will pursue them diligently as long as it stays open.

  • Club 10 was open when the towns were evacuated... so again half truths on this site.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:42 PM

  • Might have been opened just for the cleaning crew. Happy with the whole truth now?????

  • NANU< NANU< Greetings from planet Family, always seeking to Mastermind the final demise of pornography and smut from city to city. BEWARE, we will be visiting a city near you once we've cleaned the area of trash by the Arena. Then we will once again be able to drive by the Arena without closing our eyes in shame at the garbage so nearby. As my Ship passes by the club, I don't see very many patrons cars there. Perhaps the Atmospheric aroma is getting to them. Mebt! Mebt! Stardate 05,06
