Landscaping
The grass is growing tall around Gentlemen's Club 10.
Word on the street says that the club has chosen not to bother landscaping around their building as was part of their original plan. Business has been down and cash flow is too limited to justify the added expense.
I have also heard it was determined that their new teenage clientele hasn't yet developed an appreciation for proper landscaping. With this in mind, the club is now planning on investing in a shiny red gumball machine.

If club 10 actually does allow 18 yr. olds, they might as well close the doors for good. Already that place has a crummy reputation. That just makes them look even seedier.

Maibe they think that plans are just a waste. Ppl dont go to these clubs for teh plants. THEY GO FOR THE LAIDIES!!! Get a clue. there are dumpier buildings in wilkesbarre than that one.

The Carousel (nasty place) The IN Between lounge, the Cabaret, and Planet Pocono all do decent business. None are raking in the cash, but they do enough to make a profit. Gclub is by far the cleanest, and the nicest if this type of club. I think they are doing well, and each time I have gone they have a decent crowd.
I do have an honest question Mr. Family. Where do you get this so called info on thier cash flow? Or is it all here say and wishful thinking?
By Anonymous, at 8:08 PM
sean s. "cleanest" "nicest" and "decent" are three adjectives that don't even begin to make sense when referring to filth-ridden, disgusting, and indecent money-idolizing businesses. Honest.
BTW, are you in on their profit that you know about OR just emptying your wallet to them??

Dumpier buildings in W-B than the club. Haven't you really taken notice, anonymous 7 56---the dumpy part of club 10 is on the inside of the building where all the garbage takes place. Yuck! Scuzzy!

It's all wishfull thinking on his part. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how badly he's grasping for things lately. He knows that the recently passed BYOB deal in the Twp has no teeth, nor do any of the other so called ordinances passed AFTER the club was opened.
He and his supporters have no clue what their talking about when they say that the Twp will start enforcing them soon. They are also spreading rumnors about an under 21 crowd, that is also blatantly false. It's still 21 and older folks, regardless of what Mr. Rumor is stating on his Blog.
Bottom line is that the club is 100% legal, hasn't been a burden to the Police, DOES NOT allow anyone UNDER 21 to enter, and is still, and always will be, a BYOB.
Don't be a lemming and follow this Mr. Family clown off a ledge....that's where he's leading his followers. The Mis-Information on this site is pretty comical though, I'll give him that.

to Sean keep one thing in mind the other clubs that you mentioned have less operating overhead and rents, just look are the size in area alone of club 10 they are much larger and the location is in a mall area. Rent and utility costs are much higher and therefore they need more than a decent crow to keep their ship afloat. The need to do big numbers to pay their overhead.

Very mature.

Along with the gumball machine, maybe they could tie some big blue balloons near the entrance to attract the boys. I feel sorry for the people at the furniture store that one has to drive past gclub10 to get to. I no longer shop there because I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near a strip club.
By Anonymous, at 4:54 AM
Hey maybe they can pay some eighteen year old guy to do the landscaping with free admission and a lap dance! hahahaha
By Anonymous, at 5:42 AM
SAL IS NOT PAYING HIS BILLS TO PEOPLE FROM WHAT I HEAR BYE BYE GCLUB
By Anonymous, at 8:21 AM
Buddies of the club don't get your sense of humor, but the rest of us do. I appreciate the way you are handling this.
I am very glad that you are doing this. Please don't stop.
By Anonymous, at 8:41 AM
If you object to 18, 19, and 20 year olds going to a strip club, how about a war like Iraq. I do not hear using the bubble gum concept about these young men getting killed in war.
At least be consistant Mr Family.
By Anonymous, at 9:41 AM
Anon 8:33 PM. Discusting, filth-ridden? That is your opinion, Not everyones. I think cigeretts are filty and rancid, I think they should be illegal as they kill thousands every year. yet I see people all over smoking who enjoy it. But you know what, I choose not to smoke becaue I don't like it. I don't start go after stores that sell them, and if you do not like strip clubs, Don't go.
Sal not paying his bills? More false rumors. And as for the bills, they only have rent and a few utilities. That's it. No product to buy, nothing to stock. These clubs are mostly profit. They do not need huge crowds to make money. Most folks don't know how they run and work. I'm sure the place has high rent, but I also know they are making enuff to pay it.

lemming, you say?! (an innocent creature)
definitely not wishful thinking; you're in the grasp of diabolical illusions...don't be a fool...that Mr. Sal loser is leading you over the ledge...into a pit...that's where the devil keeps his followers...bottom line...100% real...enforceable...lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth...no rumor...nothing comical... and DOES NOT allow lemmings.
Take this as a clue as to what you're talking about.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

"Mr." Anonymous 9:41, I would like you to meet my son, 19 years old, almost 20. He did his part to fight the war in Iraq. I am so PROUD of him and so is the whole community. He fought with honor and for honor. There was a parade for him.
"Mr." Anonymous 9:41, I would not want you to meet my son, 19 years old, almost 20. He goes to strip clubs. I am NOT proud of him and neither is the community. No honor. There is no parade for him.
Getting killed in war...
anyone who serves this country, living or deceased, has a special day to commemorate them, Veterans'Day.
What special day commemorates strip club patrons, living or deceased?
Anonymous 9:41, don't insult the honor of U.S. service people with your unworthy comparison or gripe.

whoaaaa! i think we just heard from Sal's publicity agent, economic advisor, business consultant, accountant, CEO, & personal IRS agent all rolled into one.
some people are just sooooo smart.
yep, some people just know it all. but for some strange reason i am not impressed. sorry.

RE: Sean S said...
if this guy knew anything about business, he would know there is not enough "traffic" going to this club because they are NOT wanted in Wilkes Barre Township! the expenses behind a club like this need more people attending on a steady basis....guess sean never saw a real crowd at a club!
By Anonymous, at 6:57 PM
rent has been reported to be $10,000 per month....plus what it cost to remodle...how about liability insurance (slip and fall and liquor liability), advertising (print ad is $640 per page, thus why they cut it to a half page last week), and payroll expense and taxes that go along with it....boy there are big expenses after all!!!
By Anonymous, at 7:06 PM
sean s, it's not as simple as saying "if you don't like strip clubs, Don't go. It is very complex.
I'm glad you brought up the comparison of smoking. Good for you that you don't smoke, however you would have to agree that at times you may inhale second-hand smoke. You have mostly likely heard that second-hand smoke is also harmful to non-smokers, which can and does cause lung-related diseases, etc. Heaven forbid if you were diagnosed with that one day.
Well you see, strip clubs still present a second-hand harm to those who don't go. Their properties devaluate, surrounding businesses have losses, the local economy suffers, more divorces can be encouraged, and children grow up without the mother and father in the household. Individuals or families can go into debt. And with that, it can negatively affect education and health concerns. In all, a person's well-being.
Then there is the great potential for the criminal activities. (I mean let's be realistic, they're not in the club having a prayer meeting.) The criminal activity can include a variety of sex crimes that occur after attending the club. You should be old enough to know without my explanation.
Club 10 is fairly new. Any or all the above has great possibilities, and unfortunately will happen, if not already. Maturity is knowing that all those things are wrong, not acceptable, and will not be tolerated. Life is hard enough without inviting or welcoming more potentials for difficulties.

that was the lamest post in the entirety of this blog.

The careless landscaping---I can understand that. I mean really, why should an "I could care less about anybody" owner care about anything??? oh, except money for himself.
The gumball machine---that is hysterical--I couldn't stop laughing! :)
Sure fits in with the whole juvenile mentality of everyone at the club---the teeners and the old geezers!:) They all should get along fine.

On thing you should know about the Scalzo's they were very good religious family and now Sal a nice fellow from the Pittston area got himself into this mess. Wonder how the rest of his family feels?
By Anonymous, at 10:36 PM
FRAUD!!!! You people are following a fraud! Mr. Faimily alwasy seems to have inside info, you all ask where, and wonder why he will not give his name! it is because he is backed by Joules Greenburg, the owner of the Carousel and the Caberet strip clubs! Greenburg has been against glub10 opning since day 1 and this is why Mr. Family is only striking out at Gclub10!! FAKER! FRAUD!!!

Hey Family, want another cause, the new Massage Parlor on 315 next to Kost tires, "Elite" massage, I know for a fact their is prostitution going on in there. That place IS illegal, I would even back you on a fight against that one.
By Anonymous, at 10:15 AM
Hi Choice. Send some pictures. Take them legally and I will post them. Cleaning up our area one sex shop at a time.....
By Mr. Family, at 10:18 AM
Pictures will not do any good for the Elite place. Calls will be made. Legal adult entertainment is one thing, illegal prostitution is another. The law is the law and this isn't Nevada.

WILL THIS BE THE LAST WEEKEND OF OPERATION?
As JUNE 19,2006 is Monday and the day the new township laws can be enforced (30 days from the first Friday after the election is certified), let's hope the law is enforced and this place is removed from our beauitful township...
6:22 AM
feedback-will the township make their move?
i for one would like to hear what everyone has to say.....will Wilkes Barre township enforce their laws or let this place alone?
please post your thoughts!
By Anonymous, at 3:19 PM
Mr. Choice, just curious, since that place you mentioned is illegal, why aren't the local law enforcers doing anything about it?
Do you think some big shot owns it?
By Anonymous, at 3:23 PM
Anonymous "FRAUD!!!!FAKER!FRAUD!!!"
And where did YOU get YOUR inside info from????
Not important to me who Mr. Family is. Not important to most people. Against club 10 simply because of its trashy nature.
By Anonymous, at 3:43 PM
anonymous at 7:06 cites payroll expense and taxes among Scalzo's costs. I thought the strippers were independent contractors who pay the club for the privilege of degrading themselves. In any event, let's not forget the astronomical legal expenses ol' Sal has to keep coughing up to that slick lawyeress mouthpiece of his. As they say, it's always the attorneys who get rich off of these controversies, so they no doubt hope this drags on ad infinitem.
By Anonymous, at 3:48 PM
Mr Family has NOTHING to do with Mr. Greenberg.....nice try though.....I guess you all have to make up things huh? The truth hurts I suppose........we're getting closer!
By Anonymous, at 4:15 PM
do they pay security personal? how about waitresses and bar tenders? a door man or girl that charges the cover? see, there are payroll expenses that go with owning a club.
By Anonymous, at 7:55 PM
The truth? Yes it does hurt. It hurts Mr. Family's campaign. Near everything he has told you here has been an untruth. The the BYOB ban would close the club, Not true. That a child was taken in, (and this he pledged before god) Not true. The club makes no money, not true. And too many coinsednces point to a link between him and Greenburg. He has never mentioned either of Greenburg's clubs, and both are directly across the street from residential homes. Gclub is more than a mile from any homes. The truth is this is not made up. The sources are very real. You folks have been mislead by the lacky of a flesh peddler. Another reason he would never give his name, because it would be easy for the right people to figure out. But they found out anyway.
By Anonymous, at 6:10 AM
.....I guess you all have to make up things huh? did they make the statement as I pledge before Gob himself this is true....talk about making things up.
By Anonymous, at 7:52 AM
you people are against this place because you have no lives, it's not like the dancers are outside!
By Anonymous, at 8:25 AM
"...you have no lives,..." exclaimed by anonynous 8:25 AM
That expression always makes me laugh :) because it is ironically said by someone who actually doesn't have a life!--or who is not in touch with reality.
It is meant to be a slamming remark for people who have all or at least some degree of qualifications, intelligence, attributes, and virtues to be movers and shakers.
Obviously that irritates the sans life "exclaimers," who lack anything better to say or do. Being irritated so much, they have to use a far-fetched statement as if they personally know about EVERYBODY'S life and motives.
How absurd is that???????? LOL :)
...and LOL (lots of luck) pal!
By Anonymous, at 3:01 PM
to 1024 I was not insulting service people, but if you are old enough to fight for your country, then a bubble gum machine and a bicycle
used to define your age group is rather insulting.
By Anonymous, at 6:59 AM
to 659 the bubble gum machine and bicycle analogy is a spoof suggesting that the older folks want to roll in the younger folks. meaning the clubs older folks should know better but they do not.
By Anonymous, at 1:55 PM
being the legal age as defined by the law is 18 for men and women where are these clubs doing anything wrong with opening up the age to 18 and up?
