BIG PROBLEM

This evening, shortly before Gentlemen's Club 10 was scheduled to open, I witnessed with my own eyes a woman carrying a young child (possibly three-years-old or so) into Gentlemen's Club 10. The child appeared to be sleeping on her shoulder as she unlocked the front door and walked into the club.

I didn't have a camera accessible to me at the time, but I pledge before God Himself that I'm telling you the truth.

This is exactly the kind of problem I have been warning you about. A child should NEVER be brought into a club like that, awake or asleep.

If one of the businesses that border Gentlemen's Club 10 has a security camera that may have recorded this event, please allow the Wilkes-Barre Twp. Police to view your recording. For sure this has to be against the law.

I read a lot of responses on this website that try to defend Gentlemen's Club 10, but there is absolutely no defense for something like this.

Update 6/3/06: According to people involved with the club, the woman was carrying some sort of bag on her shoulder. I'm not sure I totally believe this, but I'm posting their rebuttal just to be fair.

Update 6/14/06: Club 10 still claims it was a bag of some sort. Apparently that must mean it was a bag with no handles that had to be carried like a toddler. They claim to have a tape, but it hasn't been publically released....nor has a still shot been posted online. I stand by my original statement which I believed to be true at the time and continue to believe is true.

  • Well since the club was closed at the time (if it did happen) The child was in no danger. But if the child is kept there during working hours, yes that is a problem, and just irrisponablity on that womans part. I am not defending it, this is not acceptable.
let us hope se was only opening the club and waiting for someone else to get there.
    What time was this?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:46 PM

  • None of the buldings there have a security camera, you know this, I doubt this even happened. Just a ploy to get the locals in an uproar. I have been coming here and supporting you, but I can not beleive this. The club is worried about being shut down, this sort of act is something they would not allow as it would surely cause a large issue.
This seems like a desperate act on your part. I'm starting to doubt you sir.

  • You said that she entered the club before it opened. I think the club opens at 7pm. My question is, was the child in there during business hours? What time did she leave?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:49 PM

  • Wait wait wait. So, It just so happens, that the man who is the foremost speaker aginst the club, just happens to be passing by, at the exact moment that a woman carrying a carrying a child is entering. And with all the pictures you have, this time you didn't happen to have your camera with you. This all seems a but hard to swallow. Sorry pal.
I think now that the club will be open after the "big vote" you are grasping at straws and now just making things up that you know will fire up the holy rollers. The club owners know they are being watched. No way anyone is going to do that.

  • I don't expect those who support the club to believe me, but I'm telling you the absolute truth. This occured shortly before the club opened at 7:00. I was driving by after taking my family out for supper.

Because I don't have a picture to prove it, I'm hoping that cameras at Lay-Z-Boy, EFO or U-Haul were able to catch what happened.

I have no idea how long the woman stayed inside with the child, but I do know for a fact that the child was carried inside, resting his head on her shoulder. He or she appeared to be about 3-years-old.

Believe me when I say that I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Like I said earlier, I pledge before God that I am telling you the absolute truth. Because many of the readers of this site do not know me personally, I realize I cannot expect you to believe me without something to back this up. That is why I'm hoping a security camera caught what happened.

I'm also well aware that some people dispute everything I say, simply because I don't share their viewpoint on sexually oriented businesses.

Still, whichever side of this debate you may fall on, I would hope that everyone could agree that a club like that is no place to bring a child no matter what time of day it is.

  • Regarding security cameras, Gentlemen's Club 10 has cameras on the outside of their building, some of which are clearly visible from Mundy Street. If what I am saying is false, they can easily prove it by releasing the footage themselves.

If I am not telling you the truth, Gentlemen's Club 10 now has their perfect opportunity to show Luzerne County that I'm just a big liar.

The ball is in their court. I am telling you the absolute truth.

  • Mr. Family,

If the child was in there before they opened, there really isn't a problem. If the child remained there during working hours then that woman should be held responsible. Mr. Family, did you report this to the police? I would like to hear both sides of the story. When it comes to laws being broken, you have to have evidence. Otherwise it is just heresay.

    Mr. Billy

  • Mr. Family
I belive you and thank you for your honesty and bringing into light this problem!
What I truely believe you saw was a dancer either picking up her check or she was going to work and her small child would wait until she was finished with her act
Now if she was picking somehting up that is one thing but if her child stayed then child welfare services should be notified.
It is one thing to dance but it is a complete other to bring your child into it.
Good Luck Mr Family and remember you do not need to defend what you know to be the truth!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:31 PM

  • Mr. Family,

Did you report this to the police?

    Mr. Billy

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:22 PM

  • This is an absolute disgrace. I hope you reported this to the police. That women must be questioned. Mr. Family, please let us know what the police say. God bless you.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:56 PM

  • This is over the top. That place is completely vile. Good men struggle every day to view women in a healthy light, without lusting after their physical beauty. What a shame to see a young child exposed to such a disgusting enviroment.

What's wrong with you people! How could it ever cross your mind to even think it would be OK to bring a mere child into that pit, even for a mere second!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:41 AM

  • I notified the WB Twp. Police.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:09 AM

  • You totally lost me on this one. NO CAMERA I was a supportor for the rally and feel the club is in a bad spot, but I think you are grasping at straws. You say the club is bad and bad for children yet you drive by pointing it out to your children?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:19 AM

  • I don't have a problem with strip clubs but a child should not be brought into one at any time open or closed.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:00 AM

  • What do you mean when you say, "he's grasping at straws?" If a child was taken into that club, that's a serious issue.

If you saw that happen, what would you do? Say nothing? Do nothing?

As I see it, even if the club remains open, it's a healthy thing for them to know they are being watched this closely. It's bad enough that they expose the men of our area to their lewd entertainment, but to bring a little kid into that building crosses a serious line.

"there is no god...stop lying to yourself."

There are MANY "gods." There are many gods that people bow down to such as the gods of greed, lust, drugs, alcohol, gambling, materialism, revenge, bigotry, illicit sex,...a long list of false, empty gods. To deny that or to worship those "gods" would be lying to YOURself.
For others to believe in the ONE, TRUE, omnipotent, all-merciful, all-knowing, all-loving God is not lying. It is faith, trust, and love. The choice is yours.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:06 AM

  • i also believe u.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:16 AM

  • Regardless of everyone’s opinion this action that Mr. Family is speaking about is a serious issue.
My husband brings our camera out a lot as he is an avid photographer however there have been times that there was "THE PERFECT SHOT" and he did not have his camera with him.
Wake up people the real issue is not whether Mr. Family had his camera, the real issue is that this woman brought her child to this club!
Please do us all a favor and focus on the real issues and not the petty ones. If we all stop the knit picking, we will have time to take care of the real issues.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:21 AM

  • I'm not surprised in the least.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:37 AM

  • If you go on the club 10 web site and read the current board posting you will read about a young female dancer currently working there, is pregnant and using drugs....Which is not unusual in these places... There are moral, social and economic issues here ..but just look at economics ...for one thing when that child is born we the tax payers will have another person to support. Wondering how many of these dancer working in these clubs are collecting welfare and are supported by our tax dollars since they are paid in cash and those earning are hardly reported.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:46 AM

  • I could be very wrong but those who say they supported the Mr. Family campaign and now they are starting to doubt him, those comments could be just another tactic by club supporters.

    1. In a few fleeting moments, driving by in traffic yet and unexpectedly, how would it be possible to take a picture of a woman with a child entering the club? Did you expect that she wait and pose?

    2. If they were true supporters of the Mr. Family campaign for all the right reasons, then why does this one incident all of a sudden deter them from their original beliefs as they now seem cast doubt on the core issue?

    3. Why would Mr. Family give a false report to the police? (which should be on record) Mr. Family must know that giving a false report to the police is a punishable crime, and he surely had to give his name.
IF this incident was concocted, then Mr. Family and his website would be under scrutiny by the police for giving the false information.
As it stands, the information IS on the website.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:48 AM

  • Did you give the Wilkes-Barre township police your real name Mr. Famiy. I believe the public may be able to access the police report. Not only that, if anything does come of it, you may have to testify in court and your cover will be blown.
Are you ready for that, Mr family?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:58 AM

  • Yes, because only dancers get pregnant, do drugs and live on welfare.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:53 PM

  • "he's grasping at straws" what I meant was making accusations against the club to discredit them. I may not have worded it just right. I think it is a bit far fetch being they know they are watched that they would let that happen.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:01 PM

  • there are many cameras at club 10...i wonder if they would turn in the tape showing the irresponsibility of someone bring a child into that club.

what is the "owners" position on bring in a child to their nude dance club?

people should stop asking "who Mr. Family is" as i see "Mr. Family" as a movement taking a stance aganist illegal activity in Wilkes Barre Township and not a "person".

i wonder who the "real owners" of Club 10 are and I mean who is the "money" backing this business and why are they hiding behind two "front men"...should the United States Federal Goverment be asked to launch a investigation into who ownes this business and expose the possible conspirecy to violate tax laws and who knows what else the Feds will find! i think so!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:23 PM

  • at least one girl i know of lives in public housing paying reduced rent and recruting dancers and working at Club 10. the housing authority needs to look into this person as soon as posible. her name and phone number appear in their advertisments...how bold it that!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:30 PM

  • Turn in the tape. End the discussion. I believe this was probably an employee who was stopping by for some reason and didn't want to leave her child in the car.

Under normal circumstances that would be fine, but a strip club is not the place for a child. This woman should have left the child with a friend or relative.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:38 PM

  • Mr. Family said that the ordinances are going to be enforced by the township. These "so called" ordinances were approved after the Gentlemen's Club received the permit to open their business. The township doesn't have a leg to stand on.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:15 PM

  • There are many people using drugs and getting government assistance but they are not out there hustling dances being paid in cash dollars and not paying their share of taxes? Dancers at most BYOB clubs are getting money from wage earners who work and pay their fair share of taxes. It's the same principal as going to a store the store collects a sales tax from you and it doesn't report it to the state. It's criminal .Think about it when you support these clubs.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:22 PM

  • if it was just an employee stopping how come she had keys to the place?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:06 AM

  • addressing anonymous 6:19

"...bad for children yet you drive by pointing it out to your children."

Although not in graphic details, it should be pointed out to children what is bad so that they know the difference between good and bad.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:29 AM

  • The funny thing is that the women wasn't carring in a child! Yeah that's right Mr. family is lieing to you you all, again.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:13 AM

  • You people are stupid too bad there are more then 2 front men there are more then that! Your just to blinded to realize it, most likely you go to church with them, grocery shopping, they are a member of your PTA in school. Did you ever think of that?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:15 AM

  • He didn't have a camera to get a picture of the child being carried into the club ????? Well, think about this...... Even if he DID have a camera to take the picture, it would probably be all blurry like the rest of his pictures, and would be worthless to prove anything !!!!!! So you called the WB-Twp. Police.... What did they say to you after they were finished laughing at you ? Hey, that's another thing..... Police reports are public records, so we can go there and find out who Mr. Family is, right ??? What a joke !

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:41 AM

  • It was only one of the house mom's opening up and they do not have children. She was carrying her bags up over her shoulder and trying to unlock the door. The tapes were already reviewed...mr family can you now wash the egg off your face!!!! I heard the tapes were sent off to proper authorities for review.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:55 AM

  • I also heard that it was one of the house moms with bags on her shoulder trying to open the door. The tapes were reviewed and there was no child as Mr. Family stated. He actually said, "I pledge before God himself that I'm telling you the truth." Well Mr. Family, can you please explain yourself???

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:42 PM

  • Since a number of people are so infinitely obsessed with Mr. Family's identity and can't discover it, obviously they are resorting to any feeble attempts to discredit him--anything to ease their minds while they condone the profound dangers and threats to society that the club presents.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:50 PM

  • Mr Family what lawsuits can now be filled against you for false reports to the police and false accusations against the club? You seem to know alot of lawyers and leagal things, so I'm guessing you know what you are in for, Please keep us updated how much this will cost you.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:25 PM

  • Saturday night Drove by Club 10 oh yes it was after 10 and there were only 20 cars in the lot funny 10 plus 10=20. and you have to figure that several of those cars belonged to employees. Wondering how on earth the will continue to operate, sooner or later those partner-investors will want to get a return on their money..Yes most clubs do have more than one owner. It seems that most clubs in N/E PA are now starting to struggle financially. They are in business to make a profit.. they are not there to entertain the customers as some may think.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:23 AM

  • Mr. Family seems to have you on the defensive, all the time. It must be hard to defend a strip club when deep down we all know it is wrong. Wrong for men. Wrong for women. Wrong for children.

Mr. Family's critics should also use a spell-checker.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5:49 AM

  • "obviously they are resorting to any feeble attempts to discredit him" feeble attempts to disctedit who? Mr Family is the one making the false accusations about children at the club, how much lower and feeble than that can you get.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:31 AM

  • Straight from a police officer.
Police reports cannot be accessed by the general public for the purpose of curiosity. Only if you are involved in the incident, you are allowed to review the report, for a fee, while a sergeant or whoever is in charge observes.

The law distinguishes between giving false information and allows for making an honest mistake.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:59 PM

  • Mr. Family,

A blogger above asked a question to which I would like to take this opportunity to answer, if I may.

Blogger, I am curious to know why you are using the plural term "children" at the club. Children at the club? I do hope you are making false accusations.
Anyway, you asked "how much lower and feeble than that can you get." (pertaining to your alleged "false accusations" by Mr. Family)
Well the way I see it, one can get more lower and feeble by not having any concern at all about the innocent children who will be affected by such an establishment when it becomes a ripple effect into their families.
Consider re-evaluating the owners, employees, and patrons motives and who are not taking adult responsibilities towards children.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:50 PM

  • Of courseeee Mr. Family didn't post my comment..I don't see why, considering it wouldn't upset Our Heavenly Lord.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:46 PM

  • 2 front guys or 20....the idea of a nude club where 1000 men show up is still a ...can you say flippity FLOP!
...plus why would any "straight man" want to be in a club with 1000 to 1300 other men looking at and degrading girls?
the men that go there are usually lonely and seeking attention from anyone and it is a sad fact that these girls are there to "work" the men and take their cash home for another man they have at home....work on the loneliness issue men at that club and you may be happier!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:30 AM

  • I would tend to disagree with that police officer.
Newspapers get police reports all the time. I procured a police report for my neighbor from the wilkrs-barre city police.
Cost 10 bucks. My next point,
obviously the police are satisfied that no child was brought into the club 10 or
we would have heard something by now.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:45 AM

  • then why do they have in the local newpapers a section that list police reports? I'm sure these people are not listing it themselves if they were caught shop lifting , in an accident or robbed. Just curious as to why if I called 911 on a burgular call that can get printed in the paper, but the call to say club 10 did this is not?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:52 PM

  • So it was not a baby the woman was carrying, but a bag of something, yet the insane Mr. Family jumped to conclusions while he was doing 35 miles an hour past the club. Way to make false claims. Guess your "pledge before god" was a false pledge. Or a false god.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:26 PM

  • False gods.
Here is just a short checklist of the false gods that Sal & company are currently paying homage to:

    money/greed
    sexual deviance
    illusion
    deception
    exploitation
---which promotes and ultimately results in despair and misery.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:59 PM

  • seen the security tapes you are wrong soooooooooooooooooooo wrong, you better repent and say 1,000 hail mary's..... God punishes liars!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:03 AM

  • anonymous 8:03 AM...

...seems like just another club supporter who doesn't have any concept of the severity of the purposeful sins being commited as listed in post 8:59 AM
Pray for all to be enlightened and repentant. It's matter of their eternity. And that is not a joking matter!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:22 PM

  • Deception? Mr. Family is the one with the deception. There was no child in the womans arms, that is what he wanted you all to beleive. He is the deceiver. It will all come to pass. What you all claim as sin is only the the eyes of your religion and not others.

    "money/greed
    sexual deviance
    illusion
    deception
    exploitation"
These are things in the everyday life of America. none of us are inoocent of them. We have all done them, in one form or another. And you may not have even noticed it.
