Is pornography harmless? How does it contribute to cases of rape and molestation?

Consider this report. It is somewhat lengthy, but very direct and informative. Click here.

  • THE PARKING LOT AT THIS CLUB 10 IS ALMOST EMPTY ON ALOT OF NITES THANKS FOR THE GOOD WORK MR.FAMILY

  • I am soooooo glad that someone is finally speaking out on this issue. My father has struggled with sexual addictions for years, which were STRONGLY encouraged by strip clubs and porn merchants.

His marriage to my mother failed when I was a kid. His second marriage also bombed. Now he is a senior citizen who constantly questions and regrets the actions of his past.

I can't understand how strip club owners can sleep at night, knowing that they encourage girls to use sex for money, and men to feed unchecked passions for perverted sexual activity. After spending a few hours drinking and being sexually "teased," what do you think some of these men go and do? They act on their desires and become and EXTREME danger to our society.

but of course we don't care, until someone we know gets raped (or becomes a rapist).

  • OK MR FAMILY you seem to be succeeding with your efforts on club 10.... less and less cars in the lot but keep in mind there are 4 more clubs, White Haven, Blakslee, West Nanticoke and Rock Glen and a few sex book shops in our immediate area please help diminish all sex businesses in the county, seems like you have more courage than our elected officials to slow these businesses down. Good Job

  • Why won't you reveal yourself instead of hiding behind the self-appointed title of "Mr. Family" ? What do you have to hide ? What are you afraid of ? Don't you realize that this crusade of yours will take on much more credibility if there was a name and face standing behind the "Mr. Family" nickname ? Another thing, what happened to the threat that you were making to reveal the financial backers that were behind the scenes of GClub10 ? Did you chicken out and decide not to reveal them ? (I'll bet you won't post these comments either.)

  • I hate you.

Why can't I have the freedom to go to Club 10 without the world knowing my business. You cant keep this up forever. Club 10 will outlast you and get business back.

  • I've noticed that the parking lot is usually pretty empty.
And if he DOES have all the security and employees in there, that he claims, half of the cars have to belong to them!
Keep up the good job Mr. Family!

  • Just because it looks like there are not a lot of cars in the parking lot does not mean the club is not busy. The busy time for clubs is 10pm and after, mainly on Friday and Saturdays. Plus, most people go to the clubs with 3-4 people in a car.

Also, just because people go to a strip club, it doesn't mean they have a problem. It is a very small number of people that have these problems that go to the clubs.

  • as far as the number of cars I don't know where your looking after the hockey game sat night it looked pretty full to me. you also have to realize 3or4 people maybe in each car.

  • A strip joint by the mall. Real classy. What's next? How nice of Sal to make WB a little worse than it used to be. Let's ruin it all the way.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:57 PM

  • I am an atheist, but I applaud your efforts to close this strip club. The perverts who choose to support these types of establishments yet wish to hide their perversion from their family and friends should stick to the strip joints in more remote locations. The objectification of women in this manner is degrading and demeaning to all involved. Best wishes in your efforts to get these sex businesses out of our area along with the lowlifes they bring.

  • On our way to the Ground Round, my mother and I saw our neighbor getting out of his car at "Gentlemen's" club 10 the other day. Gross.

We thought he was like that, but now I will fully admit that we are freaked out.

    MOVE!

Rumor has it council men tried to make a deal and get $2 a head off club 10. Maybe Mr. Family will get to the bottom of things.

  • LMAO I cant believe I am posting here. You Mr.Family have WAY TOOOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS! Maybe you should spend it with your family! Get over it!

  • A. Pornography is a perversion that attacks everything God cherishes.
Man is made in God's image. Therefore, the theological foundation against pornography begins with the premise that every human life has dignity and is sacred (Genesis 1:27).
Therefore, man was created in a dressing room located in a Wyoming Valley Mall clothing store with the premise that every human should be fully clothed, especially in front of othes.

    B. Pornography is destroying the innocence of children (Mark 9:42).
"It has been estimated that approximately 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 7 boys will be sexually molested before the age of 18. The relationship of pornography to child sexual abuse is compelling. Seventy-seven percent of those who molested boys and 87 percent of those who molested girls said they were regular users of hard-core pornography. (See Information Sheet for more statistics and testimonies)."
Where are the actual statistcs from where they got this study from. A corelation does not mean it is a significant relationship always.
There may be a relationship between people who get up in the middle of the night for a drink of
water and people who watch pornography.

The END NOTES on this site state... "Endnotes:

    1. Both national Commissions to study pornography agreed that among the largest consumer groups of pornography are 12-17 year old adolescent males."
Doesn't a person need to be 19/21 to enter a stripclub?

    C. Pornography is a lie.
Pornography says the best sex is outside of marriage. Pornography promises what it cannot deliver. Proverbs 9:17 tells us that "stolen waters are sweet..." However, Proverbs 14:12 tells us, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Pornography is innate. A futon is a lie. A futon says that a best nights rest is away from a bed in a living room.
A futon promises what it cannot deliver.
